Russell Christensen - Rider # 192
I can't believe this will be the fifth year that I am riding for the SMART Ride! I remember the first time I got on the saddle to ride to Key West. My hands and legs were shaking, feeling nervous on the 165 mile journey that lay before me. Despite training in the months prior to the ride, nothing could prepare me for the speech Glen gave during the closing ceremony at Key West AIDS Memorial. However, it was the bike without a rider, representing those who could not be here today, that brought me to tears.
I'm asking for your help in donating to this amazing organization which gives 100% of the funds raised directly back to AIDS Service Organizations directed to prevention, education, and services right here in our local community. Your donation can help make a real difference and change the lives of those living with HIV or AIDS, who are affected, infected or at risk today to stay healthy.
Please consider giving as generously as you can. I pledge 100% of the funds raised to Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Center which benefits children and families in South Florida
