GOAL: $1,250
RAISED: $85
Robert Hadley - Crew # 2037

On Friday November 18th, and Saturday November 19th I will join hundreds of other individuals who will ride their bicycles or crew from Miami to Key West 165-miles. Our journey will be one filled with hope, with pride, and with the dream of a future free of AIDS.
On a personal note, I've been doing rides like this since mid 1990s when I got diagnosed with cancer, AIDS related. The AIDS rides and subsequent such rides saved my life. Cycling across Alaska in 2000 I actually rode through a cloud. I felt humbled. Living with HIV has taught me to be careful with my life and to honestly care for those around me.
I have set an ambitious goal to help raise more than the required $1250 because I believe what we do makes a difference. Did you know that those being infected at the highest rate are ages 13-23, not a typo! Education, prevention and care can make this disease a memory instead of a present-day reality. Nothing would give me more pleasure than to hang up my bicycle and know that the world is free of HIV and AIDS.
I hope you will consider joining me on this journey and make a donation.
Margaret Mead once said "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world, indeed; it is the only thing that ever has." You are part of the change, thank you.
