Logan Ray - Rider # 129
2021 is a world of possibilities, and I want to help make this the best year yet. I have committed to do my part and am looking forward to not just fundraising and helping change the face of HIV and AIDS but to be part of this amazing event this year. On Friday November 19th, and Saturday November 20th I will join hundreds of other individuals who will ride their bicycles or crew from Miami to Key West 165-miles. Our journey will be one filled with hope, filled with pride, and filled with the dream of a future free of AIDS. This year will mark the 18th year of The SMART Ride journey, I have set an ambitious goal to help raise more than the required $1250 because I believe what we do makes a difference (and because 100% of the money you donate will go back to the community).
2020 was supposed to be my maiden "Smart Ride" but COVID decided to step in and squash my plans. 2021 will be different. I am doing this ride to stop the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS! I was diagnosed with HIV in June of 2011. I had just finished my first AIDS/LifeCycle ride in California. I saw how much good was being done for people living with HIV/AIDS. I vowed to continue in my personal fight to make sure that people get the help they need to survive. Our HIV meds are so expensive and with someone who does not have the proper health coverage this cost can be insurmountable. Please donate to this amazing cause. It means so much to me and to people like me who are living with HIV.
Thank you and MUCH MUCH LOVE,
