Salvatore Di Marco - Rider # 191
On Friday November 17th, and Saturday November 18th I will join hundreds of other individuals who will ride their bicycles from Miami to Key West - a 165-mile journey. We will ride with hope and pride - and dream of a future free of AIDS.
The SMART Ride guarantees that 100% of what is donated (with your help) will be given to AIDS Service Organizations, such as our team's befitting agency: Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center's Comprehensive Family AIDS Program (CFAP). Since 1991, CFAP has provided care to infants, children, youth, women and families who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Some of the services include: community outreach, medical care, counseling, HIV screening, medication management, mental health services, support groups, education, and summer camp programs for infected children.
This will by my fifth year being a part of the The SMART Ride journey. Because I believe what we do makes a difference I have set a goal to raise $1,250.
Together we can make a real difference, we can change the world, and help free future generations of living with HIV, while helping those already affected, infected or at risk today stay healthy.
