Lodging
Each rider and crew is responsible for making and paying for his or her own lodging arrangements prior to and after the ride. To make it easier for you, we have the following information and sponsor hotels. We encourage you to use our sponsors hotels if possible, as each gives a percentage of their reservation fees back to the production of the ride.
Your registration fee includes your lodging at the beautiful Hawks Cay Resort on Friday night. However, check out the Friday night section below for important information on selecting roommates, buying upgrades, and/or reserving space for a non-participant spouse.
Thursday
Breakfast and ride-out on Friday morning is bright and early. So unless you live quite close to the MorningStar Retreat Center, we encourage you to book an evening in the Dadeland area. Its also a great time to start building camaraderie with fellow riders.

- We are holding a limited number of rooms, booking early is recommended, once block is filled rooms will not be available. Our room block is held until 10/17 and available on space availability only after 10/17. The SMART Ride will provide limited transportation to and from the Holiday Inn, the time and posting will be listed at registration .
- If you are driving to MorningStar we would encourage you to use your transportation back and fourth to the Holiday Inn and leave your car at MorningStar over the weekend if you aren’t using it on the ride.
- (The Holiday Inn will be donating back 10% of room revenue to The SMART Ride)

- We are holding a small block of rooms until November 1st, after that, rooms are on a space availability and maybe at a higher rate. All rooms must be prepaid and are non refundable.
- The Courtyard Marriott is 3.42 Miles from MorningStar Renewal Center about a 6 minute taxi ride
- If you are driving to the ride and planning on leaving your car at MorningStar throughout the weekend, you can bring it with you on Friday morning of ride out.
- We will not be providing transportation to and from the Courtyard Marriott.
- (The Courtyard Marriott will be donating back 10% of room revenue to The SMART Ride.)
Friday
We will be staying at the beautiful Hawks Cay Resort on Duck Key in Marathon.- There is NO additional cost for these accommodations to registered riders and crew
- We sleep 4 individuals in each of these two bedroom, 2 bath villas.
- If you would like to request your roommates for the evening, upgrade your room and/or make reservations for a non-registered spouse/partner, this option is available after you have registered by filling out our Housing Form.
Saturday
Plan to stay Saturday evening and enjoy the celebration and GREAT PARTIES! Plus you might be a little tired.

Southern Most Hotel on the Beach
- BOQ-balcony w/partial ocean view & 2 queen beds, SMOB, $199.00 weekdays/$165.00 weekends
- All rates provided based on double occupancy (two guests per room), there will be an extra person charge for additional
